Plain terms for a testing service. The parts that matter most are what a certificate does and does not cover, and the fact that everything here is for research use only.
These terms govern your use of veriphase.ca and any testing you order through it. Ordering a test means agreeing to them.

Everything we test is for research use only. Results are not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a safety clearance. Nothing we report should be used to decide whether a substance is fit to administer to a person or an animal.
Veriphase Inc. is an Ontario corporation, Ontario Corporation Number 1001727726, with its registered office at 80 Barbados Boulevard, Unit 20, Scarborough, Ontario M1J 1K9. In these terms “Veriphase”, “we” and “us” mean that company.
Veriphase is a testing service, not a laboratory. Analysis is performed by an independent laboratory in Ontario, and every certificate names the facility that ran it. We arrange the testing, handle your order and issue the certificate.
We do not sell, manufacture, supply or source peptides, and we have no commercial interest in the outcome of any analysis. We charge the same whatever the result.
A certificate describes the sample we received, as it was when we received it. It says nothing about:
Analytical methods have limits, and we state them. Some questions cannot be answered by measuring mass — distinguishing mirror-image amino acids, for one. Where that applies to a compound, its page says so.
We may refuse or dispose of any sample we are not equipped or permitted to handle. If we do, we will tell you why and refund you.
Samples are consumed or disposed of within 90 days of analysis unless you arrange a return in advance. We cannot return material that the analysis consumed.
Every certificate carries an identifier anyone can check at /verify. You may share a certificate freely, including with the vendor you bought from.
What you may not do is alter one, or present a certificate for one sample as though it covered another. Doing so is misrepresentation, and we will say so publicly if asked about a certificate that has been misused.
Prices are in Canadian dollars and shown before you pay. Payment is taken at the time of order through Stripe. Refunds are governed by our refund policy.
Discount codes are one use per customer and apply to a first order only.
We provide analytical measurement, carefully performed and honestly reported. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of a result, nor for any loss arising from the use of a substance we tested.
Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the test in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under Canadian law.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and the terms in force when you ordered are the ones that apply to that order.
