A blind test removes the expected answer from the analysis. Rather than confirming a stated identity, the sample is matched against all three GLP-1 targets independently, and reported on whichever it turns out to be.

When not naming the compound is the point

When this is the right test

If you have reason to doubt what you were sold, a blind test is stronger evidence than a confirmation test. Nobody analyzing the sample knows what it is supposed to be, so nobody can be accused of finding what they were looking for.

It is also the right test when a vial has lost its label, or when a supplier's naming is inconsistent enough that you are not confident which product you received.

What it does not cover

This test looks for the three GLP-1 compounds named above. If your sample is a growth-hormone secretagogue or a repair peptide, order that compound's test instead — or ask us, and we will tell you which is appropriate.

of all 6,441 samples did not contain the stated peptide. Among the compounds a blind test covers, identity failures were concentrated in the harder-to-distinguish pairs — which is precisely when not telling the laboratory what to look for is worth paying for.

What your certificate reports

  1. Identity — confirmed from precursor-to-product-ion transitions on a triple quadrupole instrument, not inferred from retention time.
  2. Purity — measured at the quantifying transition, with the method named on the report.
  3. Net peptide content — quantified against an external calibration curve and reported as its own figure, in milligrams. Why this is a different number from purity.
  4. Peak data — the chromatographic results behind each figure, printed on the certificate rather than held back.

How much sample do you need?

Does it need to be shipped cold?

No. Lyophilised peptides travel safely at room temperature, which is how nearly all samples reach us.

Who actually performs the analysis?

An independent Ontario laboratory. Every certificate we issue names the facility that ran it — we are a testing service, not a laboratory, and we would rather say so than let you find out from the report.

What if the result comes back bad?

You get the result. We do not soften findings, and we do not charge differently depending on what the analysis shows.

Can I verify the certificate is genuine?

Yes. Every certificate carries an identifier that anyone can check against our records, including the vendor you bought from.
