A gap of three parts in a thousand

Ten daltons

Modified GRF(1-29) — sold as CJC-1295 without DAC — is sermorelin with four amino acid substitutions designed to resist degradation. Those four changes shift the mass by roughly ten daltons out of 3358.

That is three parts in a thousand. Nothing about the two compounds looks different, they behave almost identically on a column, and the price gap between them is real.

Not the same as tesamorelin

Sermorelin is a fragment; tesamorelin is the full 44-residue chain with an added acyl group. They are nearly 1800 daltons apart and routinely marketed as interchangeable.

Three parts in a thousand is the analytical equivalent of telling apart two people of the same height by weighing them to the gram. It is entirely doable, and only with an instrument that measures mass rather than timing. How that works.
